  • 1 tablespoon agave
  • Zest of 1/2 lemon
  • 5-10 drops of essential oil or extract (optional/customizable, e.g., tea tree for its refreshing properties)

Instructions

Methods
  1. LEVO Instructions:
  2. Prepare LEVO: Set up your LEVO infusion machine according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Prep Ingredients: While the LEVO heats up, gather the clear glycerin soap base, honey, agave, lemon zest, and optional essential oil.
  4. Infusion Process: Place the desired amount of glycerin soap base into the LEVO reservoir. Add Calendula to the infusion pod.
  5. Add Honey and Agave: Combine the honey and agave into the LEVO reservoir with the glycerin soap base.
  6. Infuse LEVO: Set the LEVO to the appropriate temperature and time for infusion. Allow the ingredients to infuse thoroughly.
  7. Optional Essential Oil/Extract: If using an essential oil or extract like tea tree, add it during the infusion process according to the LEVO's instructions.
  8. Strain and Cool: Once the infusion process completes, strain the infused soap mixture to remove any solids. Let it cool slightly but not solidify completely.
  9. Pour into Molds: Spray the molds with alcohol. Add the lemon zest to the molds.
  10. Carefully pour the infused soap mixture into molds, ensuring an even distribution. Tap the molds gently to release any air bubbles.
  11. Allow to Set: Let the soap set and cool completely in the molds, typically within 24 hours.
  12. Release from Molds: Once solidified, gently remove the soap bars from the molds.
  13. Instructions for Double Boiler:
  14. Prepare Double Boiler: Fill the bottom of a double boiler with water and set it on low-medium heat.
  15. Melt Soap Base: Place the clear glycerin soap base in the top pot of the double boiler. Melt the soap base gently, stirring occasionally until fully melted.
  16. Incorporate Ingredients: Once melted, swiftly add the infused honey and agave to the soap base. Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients evenly.
  17. Optional Essential Oil/Extract: If using an optional essential oil or extract, add it to the mixture and stir well.
  18. Pour into Molds: Spray the molds with alcohol and then add in the lemon zest.
  19. Carefully pour the blended mixture into soap molds, ensuring even distribution.
  20. Cool and Set: Allow the soap to cool and solidify in the molds for 24 hours at room temperature or cooler.
  21. Release from Molds: Once solidified, gently remove the soap bars from the molds.
