- In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the thyme leaves and elecampane root to the boiling water.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes to infuse the water with the herbs' properties.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes.
- Strain the liquid into a clean bowl, pressing the herbs to extract as much liquid as possible.
- Add the fresh lemon juice to the strained liquid and stir well.
- Once the mixture has cooled down to lukewarm temperature, add the honey and mix until it dissolves completely.
- Pour the syrup into a clean, airtight glass jar or bottle for storage.
