  1. In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the thyme leaves and elecampane root to the boiling water.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes to infuse the water with the herbs' properties.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes.
  5. Strain the liquid into a clean bowl, pressing the herbs to extract as much liquid as possible.
  6. Add the fresh lemon juice to the strained liquid and stir well.
  7. Once the mixture has cooled down to lukewarm temperature, add the honey and mix until it dissolves completely.
  8. Pour the syrup into a clean, airtight glass jar or bottle for storage.
