Dandelion root, ginger root, and burdock root contain bioactive compounds such as sesquiterpene lactones, gingerols, and inulin, respectively, which support liver detoxification by enhancing the activity of enzymes like cytochrome P450 and glutathione S-transferase. Milk thistle's active compound, silymarin, stabilizes liver cell membranes and increases glutathione levels, protecting against oxidative stress and promoting enzyme regulation . Rosehips and red clover blossoms add antioxidant flavonoids that further aid in reducing liver inflammation and supporting enzymatic balance .
